Southern Alleghenies Service Management Group (SASMG) is a non-profit company contracted with the County of Blair to manage services for people with Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Developmental Disabilities (DD) and/or Autism (A). SASMG employees understand and share a commitment to a person centered approach, have strong connections with one another, and face the challenges associated with our work.

SASMG is seeking a full-time program professional to meet the challenges of the dynamic, complex system of the ID/DD/A program in Blair County. Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: intake management, eligibility determination, enrollment and completing assigned investigations of reported incidents. A successful candidate must be able to interface with people who use services and their families; have strong organizational skills, be flexible, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to work with a close knit team.
Minimum of a qualifying Associate Degree and 4 years’ experience supporting people with developmental disabilities or a Bachelor Degree and 2 years experience. Completion of the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Program’s certified investigator course is a requirement upon hire. Current certification and experience are preferred.
