Southern Alleghenies Service Management Group (SASMG) is a non-profit company contracted with the County of Blair to manage services for people with Intellectual Disabilities/Autism (ID/A) and Developmental Disabilities (DD). SASMG is seeking a full-time professional to meet the challenges of the dynamic, complex system of the Early Intervention (EI)and ID/A Programs in Blair County. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: managing office communications and supplies, assisting staff and board members, scheduling trainings and meetings, maintaining official files and records of the agency. A successful candidate will be able to interface with people who use services and their families; have strong computer and organizational skills, be flexible, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to work with a close-knit team.
Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite of programs is required. Experience in an office setting and with people with disabilities is preferred. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills are a must. The salary range starts at $33,000 annually, negotiable with experience and proficiency. Medical, dental, time off, and retirement benefits are offered.
