Person Centered Thinking Training provides basic introduction and foundations in person centered supports. Attendees will learn:
- The importance of being listened to and the effects of having no positive control in your life
- How to sort out the difference between what is important to a person and what is important for a person in every day life
- Recognizing the need to respectfully address the balance between health, safety and choice
- The role of daily rituals and routines in learning what is important to a person
- Simple changes to make in day-to-day work which puts person centered thinking into practice
